The Distress Centre is a non-profit agency that is dedicated to the
highest standards in both service delivery and administration.
History
Since 1970 the Distress Centre has been a core part of crisis,
information and referral services in Calgary.
Accountability
We adhere to several external codes and our own internal
standards as well as being accountable to our funders and Board of Directors.
Partnerships
The Distress Centre has developed relationships with numerous
other organizations in the Calgary area to coordinate services and ensure the
most effective and efficient use of resources.
Funders
Our core funding includes government, United Way, foundations,
and partnerships.
