Calls to Distress Centre's crisis line are confidential and non-judgemental. We
offer free 24-hour crisis intervention, professional counselling and referral services
to help you over come crisis.
Everyone has a different definition of crisis. But, no matter who you are or what
you’re facing, we can help. Whether it’s the stress of a new job, struggling with
drugs or getting over a recent break-up, or thoughts of suicide, our volunteers and professional staff are
always there when you need someone to talk to.
What are the limits to confidentiality?
Distress Centre also offers support and information via email. As this email address is not monitored 24 hours a day, it is best suited for non-urgent information requests; all email will receive a response within 24-48 hours. If the issue is urgent, please contact our 24 hour crisis line 403-266-HELP (4357) for an immediate response.
