Calls to Distress Centre Calgary's crisis line, 403.266.HELP (4357), are confidential. We
offer free 24-hour crisis intervention, professional counselling and referral services
to help you overcome crisis.
Everyone defines crisis differently. But, no matter who you are or what you are facing, we can help. Whether it’s the stress of losing your job, struggling with addiction, getting over a recent break-up, grieving the loss of your pet, feeling depressed or having thoughts of suicide, our volunteers and professional staff are always here for you. If you just want to talk, we are here to listen.
What are the limits to confidentiality?
Distress Centre Calgary also offers support and information via email. As this email address is not monitored 24 hours a day, it is best suited for non-urgent information requests; all email will receive a response within 24-48 hours. If the issue is urgent, please contact our 24 hour crisis line for an immediate response.
