Every Day, at least one Albertan dies by suicide.
As prevalent an issue as suicide is, Canada remains one of the only developed nations without a national suicide prevention strategy. Distress Centre is marking World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10, 2011 and encouraging everyone to show their support for suicide prevention, remembering those lost to suicide and support for suicide survivors.
