Vote for ConnecTeen to receive a donation from Morrison Homes!

Morrison Homes is celebrating their 60th anniversary in 2021. They’re donating over $200,000 to various charities over the course of the year!

How it works: Every month, Morrison employees will choose three local charities close to their hearts. The public will then vote for their favourites, and the winning charity will take home that month’s share of their $208,080 donation and the runner-ups will receive a donation for their participation. Distress Centre’s ConnecTeen program has been chosen as one of the three August charities to vote for!

Scroll down on the page to “Vote now and tell us where to donate over $200,000!” and select Distress Centre from the choices.

Vote for Distress Centre and support ConnecTeen – our youth peer support program! Share the link with your family and friends and ask them to vote. You only need to vote once.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, Distress Centre Calgary would like to honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Finally, we acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory.
