RBC Foundation believes in the power of communities and the people who live in them. RBC is one of Canada’s largest banks and corporate donors, and one of North America’s leading diversified financial services companies globally. As a purpose-driven company, they strive to create positive social and economic impact within their communities.

RBC Future Launch is a 10-year $500 million commitment to help Canadian youth prepare for the jobs of tomorrow. The program is a catalyst for change – bringing people together to co-create solutions so young people are better prepared for the future of work.

Under the umbrella of Future Launch, the RBC Youth Mental Well-being Project supports programs that help youth and families access the right care at the right time. Through this project, more than $34 million has gone to organizations dedicated to helping kids and families get the programs and resources they need. This funding is targeted to help achieve integration not just within the mental health system, but between the mental health and general health systems.

For nearly 50 years, RBC has been a vital community partner investing in Distress Centre and has contributed over $235,000. We are grateful and honored to be working together with RBC for our youth – the next generation. Together we are stronger.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, Distress Centre Calgary would like to honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Finally, we acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory.
